Field Sobriety Test
A field sobriety test or roadside sobriety
test refers to the test you will be requested to take if
you are stopped by a police officer on suspicion of drunk
driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or other
drugs, including prescription drugs. Generally, this test
consists of tasks designed to measure your balance,
coordination and awareness.

You may be asked to close your eyes, tilt
you head back and then touch your nose with your index
finger. You may be asked to walk a straight line
heel to toe and then back again. You may be asked to
do some simple math problems. Can you refuse to take
the field sobriety test? Yes, but do so with respect
more information) and be prepared for a ride to the
police station. If you have been ticketed with
a DUI, click here to find a reputable
